There are some cosmetics that are worth being always kept near. Because something unexpected may happen, because suddenly the mascara may smudge, because the lips have just got chapped. For that reason, I do my best to collect and put into my handbag only a few beauty products that allow me to fix my appearance in a flash. Below, I’m listing the beauty items that I consider being irreplaceable.
Concealer to deal with skin imperfections
This cosmetic is worth keeping close at hand – trust me! After all, we don’t know when and where a big zit appears on our forehead or when a layer of concealer, which is supposed to cover up dark circles, fades away. A decent concealer helps you hide broken capillaries, discolorations and dull skin. Undoubtedly, a concealer is a useful beauty product that occupies literally no space in a purse and gives you nothing but benefits.
Mini size highlighter
It adds shine to fatigued skin, brings out some face parts, replaces eye shadows. As you can see, a highlighter has many applications, even the ones that might not come to your mind when you think about this color cosmetic. A good concealer makes your face prettier in a snap and makes your skin more radiant. The only fairly challenging thing is to match its shade to the complexion.
Blotting papers
This product is a must when it comes to fixing makeup and taking care of face skin outside home. Blotting papers collect the excess of sebum along with other impurities without ruining the makeup you’ve been applying so carefully in the morning. Thanks to them, neither does your face have this unhealthy shine nor hazardous impurities are allowed to remain on your skin. In short, blotting papers help you improve your appearance easily.
Lipstick or lip balm
If you keep either a lipstick or lip balm in your handbag, then this is good. You can make use of a lipstick after every meal, when you have to touch up your lips, or before a date when you want to look flawless. When it comes to a colorless lip balm, obviously, it keeps your lips in a good condition. What’s interesting, you can make use of it to moisturize and nourish other face parts than lips. Yes, you can apply a lip gloss to your hands and dry skin patches on your face. It’s also worth realizing that in some unexpected and extreme situations a lip balm may replace a highlighter. Try to apply it to your cheek bones, chin, nose and eyelids. Do you like the effect? I hope you do.
Fragrances as your outfit complement
Undoubtedly, despite being invisible, fragrance boosts our physical appearance. Therefore, it’s a good idea to have your favorite perfumes always near you. Obviously, apply them wisely: neither pour half a bottle at once nor apply them too frequently. The truth is, in most cases, if you can’t sense your perfumes, it doesn’t mean that the people near you don’t smell it either. Basically, spray your neck, wrists and hair in the morning to enjoy your favorite aroma for the entire day.
